📍 Product Designer in the San Francisco Bay Area
🎓 B.S. Human-Computer Interaction @ U.C. San Diego
👾 Video Game Aficionado
I say that I'm a curious designer because I seem to always have questions in mind: “How does this thing work? Why does it work like that? How might I make it better?”
After years of experience in the UX field, I've learned that I enjoy trying to understand problems at their core before trying to tackle the solution. Digging deep into a subject is my jam.
With that being said, I'm really big on utilizing data because it helps me understand why I'm designing something in the first place. With data, I believe that my designs can improve anything, whether it be a component, a page, or a process.
When I'm not working on designs or looking at data, I really enjoy playing video games with friends! I used to play a lot of competitive Pokemon online and Super Smash Bros (both Melee and Ultimate), so if you ever want a challenge, I'm your guy.
Check out this Pokemon Go article that my friends and I got onto during a Community Day!
I also really like to stay active! I lift, run, and hike often.
I graduated in 2019 at University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Cognitive Science: Human-Computer-Interaction. Since then, I've been living in the Bay Area and traveling around the country from time to time - New York has to be one of my favorite places!
